There is a reason that other parts of the country are envious of the weather we enjoy here in our Lake Havasu community. While the Northeast is blasted with feet of snow and freezing temperatures chill the rest of the US, Lake Havasu sits pretty with clear skies and 70+ degree temps. While rain may be forecast for Friday, it will be long gone before the 2014 Lake Havasu Children’s Community Christmas Party at Rotary Park this Saturday, December 13th.

The Recreation Department will be hosting their 2014 Lake Havasu Children’s Community Christmas Party this Saturday. Kids can try their hand at fun holiday-inspired arts and crafts projects. Inflatable bounce houses always prove to be popular with the wee ones. They can even hitch a ride on a pony at the park. Santa will be making an appearance and taking last minute requests from all the good little boys and girls in attendance before he scurries back to the North Pole. There will also be plenty of kid-friendly games to keep your children occupied.
The 2014 Lake Havasu Children’s Community Christmas Party is the City’s gift to the children of our community. They have partnered up with local community members and businesses to ensure that our Havasu kids have a great time this holiday season. Admission to the party is absolutely FREE. All that the City requests is that you bring a new, unwrapped toy or a non-perishable food item (or both) for each person attending the party. All donations collected at the party will be distributed to the local food bank and the Interagency Council.
