The Kiwanis Club has been helping members of the Lake Havasu community for decades. Children are at the top of the list. The programs that the Kiwanis of Havasu offer empower our children to be productive members of society while helping others. You can help the Kiwanis continue providing these programs by attending the 2015 Lake Havasu Kiwanis Dinner and Auction.
What: 2015 Lake Havasu Kiwanis Dinner and Auction
Where: London Bridge Resort Convention Center
When: Friday, May 29, 2015 5:30pm
Cost: $30/person
Contact: Mike Carr, Kiwanis Havasu (928) 855-3081 or via email
The 2015 Lake Havasu Kiwanis Dinner and Auction is probably unlike any other fundraising dinner you have ever been to before. At this dinner, you play host (or “waiter”) to a table of 10 fun-loving people. Each person pays $30 a head. You decide on a theme and decorate your table accordingly. Make sure to let your guests know what the theme is so that they can dress up to match. You can use your business, a specific location, a time period, etc, as inspiration. You are only limited by your imagination.
Everything is up for bid…donated items, the silverware you are eating with, the chair you are sitting on. Everything! There will also be a silent auction. Bring something to your table for others to bid on to raise even more money. The waiter of the table that raises the most money that evening will be named “Celebrity Waiter of the Year”.
All money raised at the 2015 Lake Havasu Kiwanis Dinner and Auction will benefit the Kiwanis’ kids programs. So, invite the generous people you know in your life to come to the London Bridge Resort Convention Center on Friday, May 19th. There are still some tables available. Contact Mike Carr at Kiwanis Havasu above for more information.
