One of the biggest draws for our Lake Havasu community is the weather. While our neighbors to the Northeast are having to dig themselves out from under several inches of snow, we get to enjoy beautiful sunny skies. Now is a great time to start planning what you will be doing this Spring and Summer. Visit the 2015 Lake Havasu Winterfest this weekend for ideas, deals and more.

The 2015 Lake Havasu Winterfest is two days of fun for adults and kids. Vendors from all over the country come here to showcase the latest in ATVs, safety gadgets, riding gear and more. But big boy toys are not the only thing on the docket. The weather is expected to be in the low 80s. Pick up some shaved ice to munch on while you shop. When you get hungry for something more substantial, try the mouth-watering BBQ or other equally tasty treats.
Do you like art? Do you want something new to decorate your home? Several artists will have their works set up for sale at booths throughout the 2015 Lake Havasu Winterfest as well. You will find an eclectic assortment of unique artwork in all kinds of mediums. There are even toys that the little ones might enjoy. The arts and crafts vendors offer beautiful handmade clothing, accessories, leather works and jewelry.
Do you love to cook or know someone who does? Stop by the Pampered Chef booth for some of the best kitchen gadgets around. Live music will keep toes a-tappin’. On Sunday, the Blue Country Band will be performing their take on classic country music between 12pm and 4pm. The pony rides are perfect for the kiddos.
There will be a lot to see and do at the 2015 Lake Havasu Winterfest. That is why it takes over Main St on both Saturday and Sunday. The stores along Main St will remain open during Winterfest. Feel free to stop in there while you walk around the festival as well. Parking is available absolutely free of charge to the public on Swanson and Mesquite.
