Hey, all you cool cats. Fire up your rat rod and grab your favorite chick. It’s time to get ready for the 5th Annual Lake Havasu Rockabilly Reunion.
The weekend of February 15-17, 2013, Lake Havasu goes “retro” with three days of food, fun and rock ‘n roll. Gates open at 12pm on Friday, February 15th. Be prepared, though. While Saturday and Sunday are family-friendly, Pyschobilly Friday is geared more towards the adults, with faster music and an older crowd of people. The musical lineup for Friday includes Los Bandits (1-2:30pm), Voodoo Swing (3-4:30pm), Sandbox Bullies (5-6:30pm), Cadillac Tramps (7-8:30pm) and The Chop Tops (9-10:30pm).
Gates open at 10am on Saturday and Sunday. There will be a retro car show held the entire three days, with a special burn out pit for those cats interested in showing off what their rides can do. Don’t miss the Pin-Up Pageant on Saturday, hosted by Ms. Kandy K. Also, Danny “The Count” Koker (“Counting Cars” and “Pawn Stars”) will be on hand throughout the Rockabilly Reunion as well.
Other bands set to perform on Saturday and Sunday are:
- The Booze Bombs
- Cash’d Out (Johnny Cash Tribute Band)
- The Deadbeat Daddies
- Dirty Dice
- John Mueller (as Buddy Holly)
- The Octanes
- The Rhythm Dragons
- Rooster Coupe DeVille
- The Twilight Drifters
Tickets are just $20 for an adult 3-day pass, $10 per day and free to kids ages 10 and under. For more information, please call (928) 846-0335 or email Kennie Cuppetelli at [email protected]. Havasu State Park’s Windsor 4 is gearing up to rock the nights away next month at the 5th Annual Lake Havasu Rockabilly Reunion. Are you going to be there?
