In Havasu, autumn weather means leaving the triple digits behind. Temperatures in nearby Southern California hit 100F this week. Other areas of the country see 60’s and below. Here in Lake Havasu, we’re a nice 90F. Perfect temperature for some Lake Havasu Fall Fun 2017. In this case, “fall fun” involves a parade and some really cool planes.

Hangar 24 Brewery hosts their very first Hangar 24 AirFest on November 4th. Watch vintage planes, like WWII Warbirds, maneuver through the air with the greatest of ease. In addition to the F/A-18 Super Hornet, T-38 Talons and C17 Glovemaster, guests will see Huey and Cobra attack helicopters as well as a V22 Osprey. Then, you absolutely must go see the jet car take off. Don’t worry about when that takes place. It’ll be hard to miss, trust me! Fill your belly and slake your thirst with great grub and several fine craft beers courtesy of Hangar 24 Brewery & Grill.
Tickets for the Hangar 24 AirFest vary. A General Admission fast pass ticket costs $10 per person pre-sale ($15 at the door). Active military members can get in for $9 per person with a valid military ID. The first 1000 tickets purchased receive a $1 discount ($9 per person). Kids aged 6 to 12 get in for $5 each while all children under 6 are admitted for free. You can purchase VIP passes to make this event even more special. This grants you entry into the air show, covered seating, beer (for the adults) and food (for all), preferred viewing (for the live music event) and VIP parking. You also get to meet the aviators that will be flying that day. An adult VIP ticket runs $75 each while kids cost $25. Purchase your tickets online by visiting the Hangar 24 AirFest website here.
Whether overhead or on the ground, Lake Havasu Fall Fun 2017 offers hours of entertainment for the entire family. The parade’s free. But I would suggest getting your tickets for the air show early. That way, you get the best price possible. You just can’t beat living this Lake Havasu lifestyle!
