With more than 300 days of sunshine annually, Lake Havasu residents tend to be an active group. We enjoy our outdoor activities. Whether that is swimming, water skiing, boating, running, bicycling or dancing, it’s hard to sit still when there is so much to do. The Havasu Community Health Foundation wants everyone to get moving and grooving one Lake Havasu’s most iconic landmark with their annual Line Dance on the London Bridge 2014.
What: Line Dance on the London Bridge 2014
Where: London Bridge (McCullouch Blvd)
When: March 2, 2014 2pm
Cost: $15 per person by Feb 28th, $20 on day of event
Contact: Jeanie Morgan (928) 453-8190
Participants of the Line Dance on the London Bridge 2014 here in Lake Havasu will be attempting to break the record for the most amount of people line dancing on the bridge set during the inaugural Line Dance on the London Bridge back in 2012 (1041 dancers). Try your hand (or foot) at the Electric Slide, the Straight 8 and Cotton-Eyed Joe. You don’t have to be a pro. You just have to give it a whirl. Afterwards, everyone is invited to get their boot-scootin’ boogie on underneath the bridge with music provided by the fabulous Art Michaud. Maybe we can invite a new dance and call it the Havasu shuffle.
All proceeds from the Line Dance on the London Bridge 2014 will benefit the Havasu Community Health Foundation’s health-related community programs and services. Strap on your dancing shoes and kick up your heels. The London Bridge in Lake Havasu is the place to be on Sunday, March 2nd. You don’t want to miss out on the fun!
