BIKER MEMORIAL RUN SCHEDULED
The annual Hospice of Havasu Memorial Biker Run will be Saturday, Nov. 3, beginning with a free pancake breakfast at 8 a.m.
The event, known as the RIDE4LIFE, begins at the Hospice of Havasu office, 365 S. Lake Havasu Avenue.
The bikers, who will also being playing a poker hand on the route, will leave at 9 a.m., travel to Parker for a stop, then up the California side with a stop at Havasu Landing Casino, then a stop in Ft. Mohave and then back to the Lake Havasu City.
At the end of the ride, the bikers can enjoy a beer at Full Throttle Pizzeria.
A memorial book will be available at the start of the ride. Last year, bikers brought photos and other mementos to remember other riders they have known, as well as friends and family.
At the same time the Lake Havasu City riders leave, other riders will be starting from Ft. Mohave and Parker.
The cost is $30 a bike in advance, or $35 the day of the ride.
All proceeds from the event are for patients and programs of the not-for-profit Hospice of Havasu.
