2015 Lake Havasu Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony
The City of Lake Havasu would like to invite the public to their 2015 Lake Havasu Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony on Sunday night. The night starts off with the telling of a traditional Christmas story. Everyone can then join in with their favorite Christmas carols. Santa will stop by to deliver hot cocoa, cookies and some candy canes to all the good little boys and girls from ages two months to 102 years.
It’s going to be a bit chilly on Sunday night, with overnight lows predicted to be in the 40s. Make sure you bundle up when you go out to the 2015 Lake Havasu Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony. McCulloch Blvd will be shut down from 4:30pm to 8:30pm between Capri and Riviera on Sunday night. When you are out and about, keep this in mind so you can steer clear. The shut down means that both we and our loved ones stay safe on foot during the tree lighting ceremony.
What Havasu Christmas events do you look forward to most each year? The Festival of Lights? The Boat Parade of Lights (at 6:30pm on Dec 4th & 5th this year)? Something else? Please tell me in the comments below.
