The Lake Havasu Firefighters Association in partnership with the City’s Parks and Recreation Department have created the very first Lake Havasu Pumpkin Festival just in time for Halloween this year. This three day event began innocently enough as a simple pumpkin patch, but quickly grew into much more. With everything they have planned, it’s sure to become an annual tradition for many Lake Havasu families in the years to come.
From 12pm to 7pm on Friday, October 26th through Sunday, October 28th, more than 60 volunteers will be hosting the inaugural Lake Havasu Pumpkin Festival in the parking lot next to the Aquatics Center. For just $5 per person (kids ages 3 and under get in free), Lake Havasu residents and visitors can select and decorate their very own pumpkin, participate in arts and crafts, play several Halloween-themed games, take a tour of a hay maze and enjoy other fun activities. There will also be food available. In addition, the Lake Havasu Pumpkin Festival includes a farmers market with jams, jellies, caramel apples and other fall-oriented fare. Local artists will be showcasing their creations. There will even be a tractor show.
With so much to see and do, you may have to come to the Lake Havasu Pumpkin Festival every single one of the three days to get it all done! Bring the family down to the Aquatics Center this weekend, October 26th-28th for some safe Halloween fun. There’s something fun for everyone to see and do here.
